This is one of the members of The Magic, performing with Islands. I really love this picture, and all the white guitar details + his white woven shirt with pintucks. Very cool combination.
Lots of cool things here- band hat (americana insp), feather plume, sailor bracelet, pyramid stud cuff, plaid leggings, exposed zippers, studded boots...etc. All inspiring for a strap. Spotted at Studded Hearts
New strap in the shop! This is the last one I will be adding before Christmas (or I'll never get my shopping done). All the other straps I have posted on here have already sold, and there are only 4 left in the shop. So if you want one, better get it quick! Otherwise, stay tuned for January.
How amazing is this skirt from Phillip Lim? Its made with rows and rows of zippers, with gold metal teeth. The way he has made something so hard edged look smooth and feminine is really impressive, and definitely inspiring. I really need to get working on a strap with zippers!
I just found this new blog, Backyard Bill, which is clearly in that untouchable upper echelon of amazing artist/designer/photographer/personality blogs. It's like The Selby, but for people's own outfits. Definitely inspiring, I love the vintage and authentic look to all the people photographed.
Ever since watching The U.S. vs. John Lennon, Lennon has been someone I really respect, on a much deeper level than just fashion. So the fact that I think he also had a great personal style, is just the icing on the cake. I love these pictures from his days before the Beatles. Such a cool retro/rockabilly look.
Which is why I'm really excited(!) they are making a movie about his early years, called Nowhere Boy.
Above is a shot from the new movie. I think this style is really relevant for today, with a lot of the current trends going to back to a nostalgic/classic americana look. I'm sure this movie will be an inspiration for some guitar straps, and I can't wait to see it.
I love these combinations of feminine fabrics and brown equestrian-looking leather belts from the Burberry Prorsum Sp10 runway. This was one of my favorite shows for Sp10, definitely inspiring a few guitar straps.
Three great outfits from (nearby!) streets in Seattle. This blog, Le 21eme Arrondissement, captures the absolute best of this city's style, and is a definite source of inspiration for my straps.

As a gemini, I can never decide on just one style. So therine encompasses my love for antique/vintage and graphic/rock, for both men and women. Hope you like the mix as much as I do.
