Found Pieces- Hardware

I love these necklaces made out of hardware and other random found pieces. I could definitely incorporate elements like these on the shoulder detail part of my straps. They go great with the chains as well!

Fringe and Pinks

More fringe from the runways. I love the combination of the grey & black fringe, with the pink discs/rhinestones.

Vintage Equestrian

I found an amazing vintage photography blog, and I love the photos with horses in them. There is definitely inspiration in the hardware and leather of a bridle and saddle. And check the studs on the headgear for the horse in the last photo! Pretty cool.

Ripped jeans are all over the blogworld, and I think I could do something like this for a very cool strap.

Gwen Again

Recent pics from an Elle photoshoot- Gwen's style is still the best. I love the patterns mixed here- houndstooth, mini-plaid, acid-wash/bleaching (and the chains....!). Love her, as always.

Zac Efron's Suit

I love this pic from GQ's photo shoot with Zac Efron. A) He's gorgeous  B) That suit looks really great on him. I'm inspired to use some suit features/tailoring techniques as a detail on my straps, which could be pretty cool for guys.

Ribbon is the main design feature of my guitar straps, and after spending some time on Etsy and Ebay, I'm inspired to use more vintage ribbon.

Mark Ronson- Retro Menswear

Mark Ronson is getting more attention for his style recently, and its well-deserved I think. He has a slim vintage/retro menswear look that not many other guys are pulling off. I think straps incorporating some of these patterns (plaid, tweed) will be appearing next in therine.

Layers of Gold Chains

I love the layers upon layers of gold chain necklaces, in combination with the all-black outfits.

The Walkmen and the atmosphere

Well, I pretty much find every pic of The Walkmen, or Hamilton Leithauser inspiring. 

These are two more of my favorites, from a show they did in Paris in 2008. The first one is a great scene shot of the show. I really like Ham's leather jacket, his stance, and the feeling in the room. Their vintage/rock sound is somehow visible. And in the second one, I like his oxford shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and his watch. As usual, classic menswear- but not stiff or too formal. Fitting, and inspiring.

Black and Gold

I love this black dress with gold trim, and how it's styled with chunky gold jewelry. And it looks great in combination with the background- which has a vintage rock and graphic black/white feel. A lot of inspiration here for therine.
