Anna Paquin in Stella McCartney at the Golden Globes. I loved this dress. Elegant and edgy at the same time. I especially like the irregular gold sequins and beading, which would be a new idea to consider for a guitar strap.
I like this outfit on Ashley Olson- its got a lot of elements I'd like to use on a strap: vintage leather, leopard print scarf, ripped denim, and studded black heels (with red soles of course).
I think Adam Brody has a pretty cool i'm-not-trying sense of style. His clothes seem basic, but he has a great sense of proportion (fitted, not tight, not baggy) and color. I like what he wears, and I think he's a good inspiration for the guy-oriented straps in my shop.
Love this behind-the-scenes pic from Madonna's Louis Vuitton ad campaign. The colors are good for some fall inspiration, and the huge silk bunny ears are great. Practical? Not at all, not even for guitar straps, but using a raw silk for some big crinkled bows could be pretty interesting.
Just found this blog: *#@! yeah Marilyn Monroe! which is an amazing resource for people like me who could never get tired of looking at her pictures. This photo, which I haven't seen before, where she's dressed very ladylike while looking at ties in a menswear shop, is especially fitting as inspiration for therine.
Recent pics from an Elle photoshoot- Gwen's style is still the best. I love the patterns mixed here- houndstooth, mini-plaid, acid-wash/bleaching (and the chains....!). Love her, as always.
I love this pic from GQ's photo shoot with Zac Efron. A) He's gorgeous B) That suit looks really great on him. I'm inspired to use some suit features/tailoring techniques as a detail on my straps, which could be pretty cool for guys.
Mark Ronson is getting more attention for his style recently, and its well-deserved I think. He has a slim vintage/retro menswear look that not many other guys are pulling off. I think straps incorporating some of these patterns (plaid, tweed) will be appearing next in therine.
Admittedly, I have a big crush on Jason Schwartzman. I think he's a pretty stylish guy, in a very casual way. In Rushmore, as Max Fischer, his wardrobe was full of classic menswear/uniform elements, and good color combos.
And his whole photo shoot for Band of Outsiders last year was really inspiring.
This Givenchy jacket on Mary-Kate is kind of out of control, but I love the pyramid studs. Specifically the bronze-y gold color of them. These will definitely be appearing on some of my straps soon.

As a gemini, I can never decide on just one style. So therine encompasses my love for antique/vintage and graphic/rock, for both men and women. Hope you like the mix as much as I do.
