Lost + Found: Prints

Emily (a former co-worker!) and Yuuki of Lost + Found find a LOT of great vintage pieces, but right now I am really drawn to the small/delicate prints in their shop. These prints have a nice mix of nostalgia and femininity- and whenever I see them on their blog I'm inspired to find some to use on my guitar straps!

Leopard and Tweed

I really like this girl's combination of leopard print & tweed pants. Not two elements I had ever though of combining before, and definitely something that could make a very unique guitar strap.

Matador/Embroidery

There is something really amazing about traditional matador/toreador pants. The intricate embroidery is quite beautiful. I think a vintage piece of embroidery, done in this style,  could make a really cool shoulder piece on a guitar strap.

Band of Outsiders- Dobby Pattern

Very cool image of Joseph Gordon-Levitt wearing Band of Outsiders. I think the patterned vest is my favorite piece here, and that kind of mini pattern could make for a cool shoulder piece on one of my straps.

Ripped jeans are all over the blogworld, and I think I could do something like this for a very cool strap.

Vintage Ribbon

Ribbon is the main design feature of my guitar straps, and after spending some time on Etsy and Ebay, I'm inspired to use more vintage ribbon.

Prints: Leopard and Ornate

This is a really pretty picture, and it gave me an idea- to combine some leopard print with a piece of a printed scarf, on a strap.

A Past Inspiration

This is from a photo shoot I was a part of after graduating college- I designed/created/styled the outfit my senior year. But the reason I am posting this is because of that amazing staircase.
