Kerchiefs

Love the colors and mix of fabrics in this pic. For guys, the red bandana is pretty classic if you can work it in. I think they could work pretty well on a guitar strap.

Men's Scarves

This collection of men's street style pics is the most inspiring one I've seen in a very long time. Wow. And I am loving the scarves on these three guys- definitely a good way to introduce some pattern to an outfit, or a guitar strap!

Backyard Bill

I just found this new blog, Backyard Bill, which is clearly in that untouchable upper echelon of amazing artist/designer/photographer/personality blogs. It's like The Selby, but for people's own outfits. Definitely inspiring, I love the vintage and authentic look to all the people photographed.

Local Inspiration

Three great outfits from (nearby!) streets in Seattle. This blog, Le 21eme Arrondissement, captures the absolute best of this city's style, and is a definite source of inspiration for my straps.

Leopard and Tweed

I really like this girl's combination of leopard print & tweed pants. Not two elements I had ever though of combining before, and definitely something that could make a very unique guitar strap.

Classic Coats, Bags, and a little Plaid

I love the colors and layers that these two guys are putting together. They definitely have a vintage feel, but are also very crisp and classic. And they are inspiring me to make some more straps for my gold plate series.

Summer Menswear

This look isn't really about guitar straps, but it is an amazing mix of femininity and masculinity, which is something I try to incorporate in therine. I think most of the elements in this outfit are men's pieces, but she pulls them together and looks really cool. Definitely inspiring.

Pompadour

This guy has a really inspiring mix of styles going on. A little bit of artsy utilitarian + black/white graphic + retro...etc. Plus, his hair is the coolest.

Olsen, Menswear

I love this outfit, especially the combination of menswear and glam heels. Definitely inspiring.

Found Pieces- Hardware

I love these necklaces made out of hardware and other random found pieces. I could definitely incorporate elements like these on the shoulder detail part of my straps. They go great with the chains as well!

Ripped Denim

Ripped jeans are all over the blogworld, and I think I could do something like this for a very cool strap.

Lookbook.nu

I've been on Lookbook today, and didn't have any trouble finding some inspiration:
Similar to yesterday's Olsen post- I love the Black, Black/Gold, Red, and Blonde colors in this pic.

Love the leather and  printed scarf combo. From Freja R.'s lookbook

Great color combos here, and I love how this pic combines his outfit (rock) with the vintage buildings.

Super cool androgynous pic, but what I really like about it is the subtle combination of wearing black with brown shoes. From Von B.'s lookbook

Prints: Leopard and Ornate

This is a really pretty picture, and it gave me an idea- to combine some leopard print with a piece of a printed scarf, on a strap.

Gallery Girl

I want to dress like this. I love the navy/gold/leather/animal print/denim combo. I think a strap like this will be appearing soon!

Pyramid Studs

This Givenchy jacket on Mary-Kate is kind of out of control, but I love the pyramid studs. Specifically the bronze-y gold color of them. These will definitely be appearing on some of my straps soon.

I like their mostly black outfits with a touch of a bright, blue toned color. Plus extra attitude.
